We have had some good family discussions lately and in response to a negative statement someone was to ...
I'm sure I'm the 1% that comments already! ;) The attraction...I like the way you write, I enjoy looking at your pictures, and I like just hearing about normal life at your house!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm one of the 99%. I'm just into occupying and enjoying the fruits of useful and productive people. And surfing the internet. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI look several times a day out of pure habit because you're my sister.....in case you forgot......
ReplyDeleteWhat Danae said. And because of the family connection. And because you are one of the "older women teaching the younger," who inspires and encourages... :-)
ReplyDeleteI read your blog for all the reasons Danae said, and because you are my mom.
ReplyDeleteI read your blog because I live far far away in a strange land and your blog is all about home. It's about home in the closest way I can get. I read it because you're my mom and I'm still listening to everything you have to say. I read it because home and you still offer me something wholesome--in a language and culture I understand.
ReplyDeleteI read because of the pictures, the hominess, the wholesomeness, the lack of guile, the title of the blog:-). I love houses and I love natural building materials . . . like stones.

You are on my list of blogs that I follow. I like your pictures and the way you write. I like to see how my relatives in another part of the world lives and do in their everyday lives:-) Hanne from Norway
ReplyDeleteI read beacause I like reading about relatives that I don't really know. And, I might as well just admit it, you are also a link to a bunch of other great blogs-that I am not subscribed to-so I come here to see if there are any new postings! :)
ReplyDelete:) I'm one of those who comments... and at the moment I can say ditto to both Lisl and Jenny's comments. Love you! -Frank
ReplyDeleteI'm a fellow Wisconsinite and I love to peek at other people's lives. It brings much inspiration to see how others deal with issues that come up, whether they be canning, family, shopping, travel, or fill-in-the-blanks..... Keep up the scribblings...they cheer me on!
ReplyDeleteI read to keep up with your family. And I'm almost jealous of that 100 readers per day.
ReplyDeleteWell, first off you ARE my aunt! :) Secondly, I've enjoyed your take on life for a good many years - and now I can read about it whenever you decide to share it! Thirdly, your blog is my connection to your children's blogs. :) Thanks for sharing! (and sorry for being one of the 99% - shall try to do better at commenting)
